My favorite sunscreen and their quick review

Hey Gal Pals

We all know how important sunscreens are in our life. If you want to know why it is important and also want to know about different kinds of sunscreens then click here. Well today i am going to review few of my favorite sunscreens which i have tried time and again and they are all priced under Rs.500 only. So lets start then 🙂

Neutrogena, Lotus, Loreal

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Drytouch Sunblock SPF 50+
Price – Rs. 499

Neutrogena ultra sheer dry touch sunblock

  • This product features helioplex, a breadth of stabilised sunscreen technologies that delivers superior protection from the sun
  • Dry-touch technology absorbs excess sunscreen oils, leaving a clean, lightweight, non-shiny finish
  • Waterproof, sweatproof
  • Dermatologist tested, PABA-free, oil-free, does not clog pores

This is one sunscreen which is always there in my vanity. Even if i try another brand for sometime i come back to this. This has survived in Mumbai weather and also doing well in Pune weather. This does exactly what it claims. No breakouts, no clogging pores and matte finish. Infact it has been recommended by my dermatologist too. For the cost this sunscreen is full value for money and i would totally recommend this. It comes in a tube form as well spray can. Spray sunscreens are very convenient to apply on body parts which are exposed to sun.

Lotus Herbals Safe Sun UV Screen Matte Gel SPF 50
Price – Rs. 395

Lotus herbals sun safe - UV screen Matte gel

This i have tried only few months back and really loved it. This is exactly like Neutrogena sunscreen but in a gel form. If you are going to apply makeup after applying sunscreen this would fit perfectly as base. Quite reasonably priced too. Even this did not cause any break out and did not clogged my pores. This is perfect sunscreen for Oily to combination skin types.

And last but surely not the least

L’Oreal UV Perfect Aqua Essence UV Protector SPF 50 PA++++
Price – Rs. 499

L'Oreal UV Perfect Aqua Essence UV Protector SPF 50 PA++++

This sunscreen also falls into same bandwagon as neutrogena. But this is very hydrating sunscreen. I apply this only if i feel like skipping moisturizer otherwise my skin ends up oily after few hours of application. Little quantity goes a long way. This is definitely not water proof. Although it claims to protect from sun for 12 hours am not sure about this. But overall i really like this sunscreen.

Which sunscreen would you recommend? What are your favorites? Do comment below and let me know 🙂
